            "A successful
            marriage
            requires falling
            in love many
            times, always
            with the same
            person."

There's a reason all of our fairy tales end with the wedding and none of them venture into the story
of married life... marriage is sometimes difficult and often messy. But what those fairy tales are missing is the deep connection, understanding, and acceptance that a long term enduring love can provide. It enriches our lives and gives meaning to those moments that we might otherwise consider ordinary. And of course, this type of love doesn't just exist within the vows of marriage; it resides in a wide variety of relationships.

Regardless of whether you've been married for 35 years or are a few months into a meaningful relationship, it's easy at first to ignore the signs of relationship distress. But when those small signs turn into big problems, those symptoms of dysfunction become too difficult to ignore. At that point, people ask, "What do we do?" "Can we overcome this?" "Should we divorce?" "Is there hope for us?" As hard as it can be to tell someone that you are in trouble, seeking therapy can not only save the relationship but make it stronger and better able to endure future storms.

Regardless of how long you have been struggling in your relationship and the reasons for your struggle, I can help. Couples therapy can be extremely effective for a variety of issues including:

            • Parenting differences
